Great atmosphere in this place, croded both times I’ve gone with friendly locals and staff. Well chosen but small beer selection. Can’t mis this one if you’re in the area.

Far and away the best place to get a beer in Folly Beach and one of the best in a large radius, from what I can tell. The selection is not vast, but big enough to provide good choices spanning many styles. This is preferable anyway because during our week stay in Folly I saw constant rotation of taps and bottles. I had Bear Republic, Smuttynose, Bells, some weird French saison, etc. They do brew their own beer in 5 gallon batches. It is difficult to get any of it as it is only on once a week and apparently sells out in a matter of hours. The tiny, cozy space provides remarkably inviting ambiance. They are way too small to have a kitchen but it’s allowed, encouraged even, to bring in food from other nearby establishments. What a great place!
