Store abit out of town. Friendly and helpfull service. Nice selection of beers from all over, good bomber selection, lots of locals. Worth stopping by.

This place has really started to grow on me. They have a nice, "warm" bottle selection that often includes some stuff that has been sold out for a while other places. It’s a fairly sizable bomber selection that often has bombers from Loveland breweries like Grimm Brothers. Not a bad joint.

It’s a liquor store - were you expecting ambiance? Steve knows his stuff and goes out of the way to show you around the store and it’s massive selection of beer. NewBelguim5 - of course they have Macros - but if you spend the time to actually look through their enormous selection, you will see just how incredible this place is. Micros galore! Talk to Steve, he will set you straight! He can introduce you to Micros from (literally) all over the world. I once went in there and he was selling a beer from Africa. Steve even took the time to tell me about his trip to Africa and to recommend some beers from the next time I came in. You must be confused by the location - not really that close to campus (although on College Ave). If you need advice, ask Steve, the owner. The guy knows his beer. The other employees, too, are more than just cashiers, but rather beer enthusiasts. Bottom line: Great selection, great customer service, great beer. ALL the things you look for in a liquor store.

A friendly store with a great selection from which to choose. Prices were very reasonable and I found all my old favorites as well as a whole bunch of new ones to try. In the unlikely event that they don’t stock what you are looking for, they can get it for you. Brett and Steve treat me like family whenever I come in which is rare these days with so many impersonal chains out there.

Great, friendly help. Extremely knowledgeable staff, with a great selection for the size! On my way home from work, but even if it wasn’t, i’d shop here again. (S of harmony on college)

I may be a bit biased, since this mercantile of libations is across the street from my house, but I must say, their selection just gets better and better. The micro/craft brew section grew from one tiny set of shelves in the corner to an entire isle in the year I’ve been going there. They’ve got a decent selection now, arranged by beer style. I picked up a 4-pack of Olde School Barleywine from Dogfish Head tonight as a matter of fact. The single malt scotch selection is nothing to scoff at, either. In conclusion, the price and selection is not quite equal to Wilburs (a few miles north on College) but for a neighborhood beer store, they deliver on all fronts.

First of all, this place is about the furthest liquor store from the campus that is still within city limits. That being said, they still focus mainly on macro beers and have a limited six pack selection for micros. Bombers and singles are also pretty limited, but you can find some aged gems there that are nice to pick up. Staff isn’t the most knowledgeable, but one of the older gentlemen seemed to have an idea what was going on. I only stop there if I am that far south, which isn’t often.

Place to sell cheaper stuff to college kids. Close to campus and has less than other stores in the area offer.
