76 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 14/20 EdKing (101) London, England | March 17, 2013 Bottle shop on Fulham Palace Road which also has tables and chairs and a sort of deli alongside it, although there didn’t seem to be any food in evidence when I was there. Very good range of British beers, and a handful of Belgian, German and American beers. You’ll find something interesting in the British sections but not so much in the others. I thought I would buy more but prices were pretty high for some of the more interesting UK beers. £13.98 for a bottle of Thornebrigde Oatmeal Imperial Stout. Bit high if you ask me. No where near as good as Kris Wines, but a good bottle shop never-the-less and a nice ambiance to the place, and friendly staff. | 70 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 5/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 15/20 theoncle (20) Barcelona, Spain | February 13, 2013 Interessant botiga amb una bona selecció de cerveses locals i d’importació. Això si una mica apartada del centre. Es poden prendre allà mateix. Tracta agradable. Recomanable.
| 80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 jackl (208) London, England | June 14, 2012 Small but well-appointed bottle shop located a short iron away from Fulham’s football ground. the selection focuses mostly on English and Belgian beers. Don’t come here expecting any crazy finds from Scandanavia or the US. The selection of English beer is pretty good, though. It’s one of the few spots in London where you can consistently find Magic Rock bottles for sale. The Belgian options are decent and not badly priced. Service is good. | 88 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 17/20 suprchunk (76) Heinsberg, Germany | December 3, 2011 Quaint little place with a huge assortment of beers. Trending to more local and English beers which is nice to see. Normal selection of Belgian and American varieties, with a few exceptions. Prices were fair on most items, with some pretty high prices on things that should not have been that high. Excellent service. She will leave you alone if you so desire, but is very knowledgeable. Will be going back to get a bunch more English micros that I have never seen anywhere else, which is over half of the stock here. | 88 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 eku28 (17) San Diego, California | November 30, 2011 Drink of Fulham is located just a few streets NE of Craven Cottage. The nearest tube is either Putney Bridge or Parson’s Green. If you’re going to The White Horse (Parson’s Green), I would recommend a stop by this store for a visit if you have time. It’s a small beer store with a very good selection and good prices to match. There are alot of English beers (as expected) and quite a few Belgians with other countries represented, also. There were bottles of Brewdog’s Tact. Nuc. Penguin and Sink the Bismark on the shelf. The staff is very friendly and quite knowledgeable about the local beers. One added bonus (as mentioned earlier) is that you can buy a beer and drink it outside on their small patio in front. I also had a small Indian plate of food to enjoy with my beer (try Shrila’s excellent samosas!) This is one of the better beer stores in London - recommended if in the SW. | 86 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 17/20 Leighton (390) London, England | September 26, 2011 A nice little beer shop pretty far off the beaten path. The selection is very strong and the prices are competitive. The shop itself is nicely laid out, very organized and clean. It’s a deli, too, so there is a nice range of easy eats. I bought beers to take away so didn’t get to enjoy the simple, quaint patio outside. If I’m back in the area I will make a point of stopping by. | 84 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 NarkeBoy22 (38) , England | May 27, 2011 Very nice lady runs this shop, good selection, not the best in London but still very good. Also a very nice clean shop. | 90 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 JohnRMurdoch (245) Glasgow, Scotland | May 14, 2011 Small beerstore / delicatessen in Fulham. Fantastic selection of beers from all over the world. Served by a really nice Indian lady who was passionate & knowledgable about beer. Only downside is accessibility. The nearest underground is Parson’s Green which is 15 minutes walk away. Can be combined with visit to The White Horse but you need to allow plenty time. | 80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 15/20 Scopey (271) Croydon, England | May 3, 2011 Interesting beer shop, located off the beaten track in deepest, darkest Fulham. Intersting selection of UK, Belgian and US beers, amongst others. Good to see De Dolle at a reasonable price. People in the shop are really friendly. I like the idea that for an extra £1 you can drink a beer at the tables out front. | 86 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 berkshirejohn (136) Bracknell, England | October 11, 2010 I was passing close by on a Sunday, so I thought I’d check them out - they were open even though there were no Sunday opening hours on display. A modern and attractive store with a good range and good prices. As a regular at the Westholme Store I was expecting the same chaos, but everything here is well ordered, with bottles grouped by country/brewery. A bit out of the way, but well worth a detour. |
