Love to stop by Tipple’s whenever I am passing through Gainesville. Definitely a beer snob store with great selection and always interesting finds. I love that they have a few taps so that you can have a beer while browsing the beer. They also have several tasting events throughout the year which are also great. The staff is helpful when asked about beer and really know their stuff. The stuff is a bit pricey, but you definitely get the quality. A fine beer resource in NoFla.

Good clean store with plenty of variety--probably the best in the Gainesville/Ocala area. Will definitely be back to try new arrivals.

Definitely worth the jaunt out here on Tower Rd away from Gainesville "downtown." The store is very modern and clean with almost all beers refrigerated rather than Gator Bev with all beers except for Bud Light and Miller Lite outside on shelves. This place is not a beer depot that happens to have craft beer- it is craft beer centric and offers proper glassware, tasting taps, mix your own six pack. Great place to pick up singles. Usually stocks Cigar City if you are looking and also a good variety of Belgian stuff. Sometimes there are oddball things worth getting and sometimes it is underwhelming, but gotta hand it to these guys for making a top notch beer store in Gainesville of all places. Little do they know it, but their store is an identical layout to one of the best beer stores in the country: Healthy Spirits in San Francisco. Keep up the good work!

I like Tipple’s quite a lot. They have a great collection of bottles, and some really obscure seasonals. Also, they have a bounty of lovely Florida beers (Swamphead and Cigar City, which, if you’re not drinking, you’re missing out). They know their stuff well, they have enough taps to keep keep you hanging out for a while, and they have chocolate, wine, and excellent glassware to boot (I scored a Hitachino Nest glass!). If you’re in Gainesville, and don’t mind driving a few miles outside of town, check this place out. You’ll find something you like.

A really nicely kept store run by two guys who are friendly and try to keep things neat. Helpful with suggestions, lots of interesting Euro beers, and other Gainesville oddities like Mead and Ice Cider. Not enough space dedicated to large format American micros. Still a really good store and considering the part of town they’re in the markup compared to Gator Bev is minuscule.

They have two taps if you want to have a drink at the store. Lots of good selections for the area, competitive prices, and you can mix and match too.

Great staff. Great selection. Good prices. Go if you want to learn about good beer. Go if you know what you like but want to try a something new. Go if you are looking for a specific brew and they will probably be able to get it for you. Offer beer tastings as well that are top notch. Had growlers for awhile but had to stop that service due to Florida laws.

This is an excellent beer store with a large selection of craft and imp rot beers as well as fine wines from around the world. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and they even have a "Beer of the Month Club" where you buy 12 of the 13 beers on the list for the month and after completing 10 lists they will put your name on the wall of the store. I love going here and am already a regular customer, I just wish they were still able to offer growlers. If the beer laws in Florida improve I’m sure Tipple’s will be the first place to have growlers again.

Tipple’s is a relatively small store, but has plenty of high-end beers to satisfy the most discerning customers. Since my first visit a few weeks ago they have already added many 95+ percentile beers including Cigar City and Southern Tier. The service is fantastic, answering all the questions you have and looking up beer descriptions/ratings online at the desk. Prices are competitive with other beer stores in Gainesville like Ward’s and Gator Beverage, and Tipple’s has the best prices on single beers to create your own 6-pack.
