80 We visited here Friday 12th June 2020, we were staying at Camping Resort Zugspitze at Grainau. This was a great little find, it's central but sort of down a backstreet, all of the outside tables were full so we sat inside. There was quite a bit of memorabilia around including old brewerania, old skiing stuff, the one Ayinger image of a woman shows how far we've come from the sexist imagery of yesteryear. We ate here as well, the 'presumably' husband and wife couple worked so hard, they did everything. Beers were great, we had the usual i.e. Hefe-Weisse and Dunkel Weizen, beer very good and food (salads) were huge and excellent. |
52 Just a few steps from the pedestrian zone, this place looks sort of like a cafe or lunch restaurant. And in fact it closes early. Two Ayinger beers on tap. Worth stopping in only if you are passing by. |
78 Ayinger beers are here. A mom and pops place that has an old and new flare. Food and service are great. Ayinger are some of the best Bavarian beers and can only be had here in this town. |
80 A nice little modern place only open early but a great place to get the Ayinger beers, and two of those on tap. Hidden in a back street and has some good light food and wine as well. Service is spot on. |
