Only 1 beer is served - kellerbier. Very fresh and quite hoppy for Franconian standards. Served from the wood. 1 local drinking while I was there. The beer was great and Krug Brau (Geisfeld) is located 50 meters around the corner. 10 Km from Bamberg!

Technically open at 1630 but in beautiful weather they had already started serving at 1615 when we arrived and by 1700 there were basically no seats or car parks left. Impressive given how small Geisfeld is. One beer via gravity - the very impressive Griess Kellerbier - plus Reh Weizen in bottles. Excellent village atmosphere with different huts around the side of the hill for drinks, food and toilets. Beer serving guy was a bit grumpy, in a good way. They must have done food but we only ate icy poles. Highly recommended, hire a pushie and ride from Bamberg.

A newly opened summer beer-garden ("Keller"), but in the traditional franconian style. Located only a few steps from the brewery on the edge of "town", this idyllic garden is a fine place to enjoy the really excellent Griess Kellerbier in the warm (?) middle-european summer.....
