A bit of a trek from the old town - but worth it. A reasonable selection of Italian beers- nothing to rival Romes beer shops but this is not a dedicated beer shop! Bought enough beer that we had to get a taxi back to the hotel!

Squillari´s beershop includes a fine selection of international beers and most of all an ample range of hand-crafted Italien beers. The value for price is excellent and the good news is that they ship all over the world! The recommended beer selection also includes 5 premium gluten free beers made in Belgium and called GREEN´s. If you are a Celiac, you should try them. Forget about Estrella Daura and other commercial beers.

The best place to buy beer in Genova: always many bottles mostly from Italian micro brewers (especially Le Baladin, Brùton, Piccolo Birrificio, etc...) and Belgian speciality beers. Great stuff also from the UK. It’s a big store which sells also wine, cider (they always have some great French stuff), liquors and food delicacies. The prices are very low: I always come out with big bags full of thing, like from a supermarket. Recommended.
