didn’t hit the pub/shit hole/dive bar but the take away instead. ambiance is a step below a gas station but i was able to walk away with a half dozen beers i had never tasted... all decent. kinda pricy but i guess that is to be expected in these parts for breaking up a sixer of good brew. as a bonus , it is close to abc and a step in the right direction for this little town... | | DiarmaidBHK (307), Pennsylvania | | March 4, 2011 [ Updated March 16, 2011 ] I had high hopes for this place but they were soon dashed as I entered. The place has the ambience of a bowling alley and they know nothing about beer. Rule number 1: If someone asks you for a beer menu, don’t tell them you also have crap like michelob ultra and coors light. People who want bmc crap don’t ask for beer menus. Rule Number 2: If someone orders a triple and that triple comes in a bottle, it’s redundant to ask them if they want a glass. Yes of course i want a glass. Rule number 3: If you bring me a glass could you please not give me one you just took out of the refrigerator. It’s bad enough the triple was 35 degrees but I don’t want the glass to be the same temperature as well. Clearly this place is trying to profit off of the craft beer movement. That’s fine just at least pretend you care about beer. The one plus for the place is that the had a take-out store where everything they sold could be bought as a make your own sixer. | beerlover82 (1), Gettysburg, Pennsylvania does not count - explanation | | February 6, 2011 Good, laid back atmosphere with quality service, food and they just now started offering craft beer. Over 50 now being served on premises and to carry out as mix your own sixpacks. They have a whole craft brew menu, describiing each beer and beer style. A good selection |
