A brewpub located in the suburbs south of Glasgow. I paid about £7 for a taxi from the Central Station to the pub and took the bus (no.36 or 38, I think) back. Five of their own beers were on, including the new one called Mount Hood, and they were nicely served on a sample tray at my table. For food I had Black Pudding & Apple with Warm Bacon which tasted ok. Long L-shaped bar with quite a good range of quest ales and bottled beers. Nothing that special with this place or their ales, however, I did not regret taking the trip (visited on a Thursday afternoon, 12.04.2012).

Visited in June 2010. Big, open pub with plenty of people watching the world cup on TV. Tried three Clockwork beers and they were ok. Service was brisk and efficient. Worth visiting but I am not sure I would make the journey from central Glasgow again.

Have visited this establishment a number of times over the last few years and found it "interesting". The decor is quite nice, it has a good selection of beers including their own brews and has a lot of large screen TVs showing different sports channels. The food menu is good and the staff pleasant and friendly so what more do you want? Problem is that the quality of the food and beer is very variable. At times it has been terrible other times quite good. At the moment it is good so hopefully it will stay like this. Close to Hampden Park, my church and mother-in-law, this is a place I want to love but it would be more accurate to describe my feelings about it warm to cold.

I was disappointed with this place, which I’d been meaning to visit for years and missed on several trips to Glasgow. I wasn’t in the best of moods as I’d just got soaked in a downpour, but the bar staff were surly and disinterested. It was mid-afternoon and the place felt cavernous and unwelcoming, with flat screen tellies blaring away, and to top it all my Amber IPA was off, end of barrel yeasty vinegary soup, but they’d already made me feel they were doing me a favour by serving it and I didn’t want to risk further grumpiness by taking it back. I just left. I might be back to give them another chance but with more central and much friendlier places in Glasgow to tempt me it’ll be a tough call.

A decent enough brew pub with some intereting ales, quality can vary a bit though

I find this a mixture of old and new - red brick walls and sports on tv. The service was OK, though a bit slow at times. The selection is great for a brewpub - 6 own beers on and more than 10 guest ales plus loads of bottled beers - among them continental beers I haven’t had. I had a very tasty haggis here at a very reasonable price. A must visit for the selection, when in Glasgow.

Nice big airy pub, trying to be old fashioned in the south side of glasgow, just away from Hampden park. Lots of their own beers and guests on either air dispense, tap or handpull - I was told to order by number, rather than name! Food was quite good quality and is of the usual fayre. Strikes me more of a foody pub than a beery one.

Rather modern place serving a wide range of bottles on top of 5-6 guest casks and 5-6 of their own beers. Basically, enough goodies to spend lots of time in theory, but the place is not as comfortable as most and their own beers, while trying some interesting styles, don’t fare too well on my rating scale. That being said, it would be worth the detour (about 20 minutes by train to Mnt. Florida at 1.70 Pounds for a return ticket from Glasgow Central) if you stayed in Glasgow for 3 days or so.

You take a local train to get there, but quite easy to find and certainly worth of visiting. Wide range of own beers, ok food and service, clean nice place.
