We visited Inn Deep on Thursday 18th June 2015. We walked from Hippo Beers, it wasnít too far, perhaps 10 mins brisk walk. Inn Deep sits at the end of a line of shops which includes Valhallas Goat (our next port of call). Guess itís name comes from the fact that it is indeed situated quite deep, you enter through a rather plain non-descript almost night club type door before descending down flights of stairs with posters of upcoming gigs and events on the walls. You eventually reach the bottom and to the RH side is a seated area with the kitchen and toilets leading off of this room and off to the LH side is the bar which is rectangular with bench seats arranged in a sort of sectioned off carriage type style, or maybe American diner. The beer is listed behind the bar but tricky for me to work out, I am a bit short sighted, Loz is long sighted so we normally work quite well together but even she struggles to make some of the beers out, so we just wander along the bar before selecting. I opted for a Fourpure/Bear Racer Collaboration I think Loz opted to return to one of her familiar and favourites Beavertown Bloody Ell (I think) we both had food, we had burgers, I had Halloumi, Loz had spicy bean burger, both were good not great but good. The staff whilst very friendly looked a little bored, four staff at about 2pmíishí seemed a bit overkill, three of them chatted and idly checked their phones, one was off to Glastonbury so that was clearly a topic of interest. This bar does lead outside to an area which I believe had a couple of seats, obviously this is below the street level, not sure what was outside as didnít venture out. I liked it here, despite not exactly being worked off their feet the staff were pleasant, prices good (the staff took the time to explain to all customers about prices for keg beers) beer choice good and food good as well. Would definitely return and heartily recommend.

2014-06-28. Cozy but slightly odd, the main appeal for this place was the outdoor seating area which was rained out when we arrived. We sat in a comfortable corner and watched an exciting World Cup shootout with a bar full of people (it got quite busy after we sat down) - even the kitchen staff came out to watch! Great fun. A few casks on and a couple of taps yielded a few good options but nothing particularly special today. Servers were friendly and seemed relatively knowledgeable about the beer options. Would definitely come back but would likely try for a seat on the patio.

Visited June 2013. Pleasant bar, which offered a decent selection of Willaims Bros beers, plus guests on keg and cask, including Moor and Hawkshead. Beef brisket roll was good and the service friendly. Well worth a visit.

Inn Deep is but a stoneís throw away from Kelvinbridge subway station on Great Western Road. It is a contemporary basement bar located on the river. They had a solid selection of Williams Bros beers on keg, cask and bottle. About half of the range on each format are guests: Buxton, summer wine, odell, lagunitas etc. Bottle selection was pretty cool with a solid range of Kernel, Partizan etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. A solid venue all-round.

Quite a nice ale bar from renowned Scottish brewers the Williams Brothers in the West End of Glasgow (close to the Kelvinbridge subway station). Quite an impressive selection of bottled and draught beers which always includes some fantastic keg and cask brews as well as my regular favourite Maiselís Weiss (the only pub I have come across to sell on tap). The staff are always friendly and interested in the beer and customer. This is a favourite and regular hang out, itís worth a visit if your in town!

Good selection of the Williams range on tap and in bottle. Nice ambience and even if you go earlier in the evening when itís pretty quiet, the cosy set up of the room still keeps a nice atmosphere in. Another plus point is that it doesnít have that pretentious, posh studenty vibe that some places out the West end suffer from. In terms of food Iíve had pizza and their beer battered onion rings, both of which were very decent and keenly priced. I believe they also do fish & chips and a selection of sausages aswell. Theyíve got a pretty quick turnover of different guest beers so itís good to keep tabs on their Twitter/Facebook pages to see whatís in then pop in when something you fancy is on tap.

This is a new modern trendy beer bar on Great Western Road Owned by the Williams Brothers. Although it is right next to Kelvinbridge it is quite hard to spot as there is just a door to a stair case leading down to the basement bar. When you get down there you find a small bar with bay windows which open on to the cyclepath overlooking the River Kelvin giving a nice view. There are tables outside which will be great in summer. It has a good selection of Williams brothers beers & guests from modern trendy brewers all on keg. There are bottles too. I like this place as it has all the ingredients to make a great bar. Unfortunaltely I think it will struggle as many people will walk past without even noticing it.

Friendly little bar with a great location with the son and daughter of the Williams Bros. clan as patrons. In the arches next to the river with a terrace out over the river. 4-5 house beers (Williams mostly) in cask and keg and about 6 guests on when I was there, mostly keg. Good bottle selection as well from Scotlandís growing craft beer scene and beyond (Cromarty, Kernel, Camden etc).

Opened September 2012 on the site formerly occupied by Big Blue, Inn Deep is owned by Williams Brothers Brewery and operated by some of their kids and members of staff. In a great location, under the Kelvin Bridge on Gt Western Rd, thereís an outdoor area with tables right by the River Kelvin. Beer list is impressive Ė 3 cask and at least 9 keg taps. 50/50 Williams Bros to guest beers Ė this is not a WB Brewery Tap, but clearly they have plenty on offer. They serve pizzas but I didnít have any, so canít comment. Others tell me they are very nice. Iíd definitely head back Ė itís easy to get to, get the subway to Kelvinbridge, exit the station and go left over the bridge, Inn Deep is down the stairs, first door you come to before the chippy. Recommended.
