| Rune (234), Tromsø, Norway | | April 24, 2012 Maybe the most likable of all the JDWs I visited in Glasgow. This one is located in the outskirts of the city centre, very close to the famous State Bar. Long L-shaped bar offering eight interesting, different and well kept cask ales. Medium sized room, airy and clean. Polite service. Not particular busy just before noon on Thursday 12.04.2012. | | rosenbergh (275), Helsinki, Finland | | March 2, 2012 Quite big JDW. 8 casks (seem to rotate quite often). Good location on Sauchiehall Street. Friendly service. Cheap prices. Scottish breakfast was also good. | | flying_pig (23), , Scotland | | January 4, 2012 One of the poorer JDW’s in Glasgow and not one I visit very often. It’s usually hard to get a seat and the food wasn’t great the twice I ate there but it is still very cheap and usually has a good selection of international beers and local cask ales so it’s not all bad. | | CalumScotland (29), Hamilton, Scotland | | July 17, 2011 Really big selection of beer and real ales and as.usual great prices well worth a visit if your near by | | JohnRMurdoch (208), Glasgow, Scotland | | July 19, 2010 [ Updated August 4, 2011 ] Large Wetherspoon’s across the road from The State Bar. 8 well cared for real ales on tap but there are a couple of repititions. Well worth a visit if you are in this part of the city. |
