| Rune (234), Tromsø, Norway | | May 1, 2012 More a whisky pub than a real ale pub. The line-up a whiskies was just amazing, I’ve have never seen anything like this before. A few interesting bottle beers and cask ales, too. I was taken here because of a beer from Ayr. Central location, medium sized, dark wood interior, popular by different kinds of people on a Thursday night (visited, 12.04.2012). | | Arve_Christian (68), Oslo, Norway | | March 10, 2012 Traditional Scottish beer on tap+ a extremely large whisky selection. And that's a nice combination | | downender (196), Bristol, England | | July 18, 2010 Visited in June 2010. Only had one real ale on offer, the widely sold Deuchars, so not much of a beer venue. | | Nekronos (78), Xalapa, Mexico | | April 29, 2010 Nice place, not so big in selection but good to have a real ale from time to time. They also have whiskey. | | JohnRMurdoch (208), Glasgow, Scotland | | April 12, 2010 [ Updated April 21, 2012 ] Quiet, quaint, slightly run down traditional city centre pub. Apparently is host to the finest selection of Malt Whiskies in Scotland. 4 real ale taps - 3 with ales, 1 Scottish cider. Beer quality a bit variable. Service a bit slow and no food available. Needs to offer better to survive. Probably more suited to whiskey than beer drinkers. However I have picked up a few good ratings so I am warming to the place. |
