| CalumScotland (29), Hamilton, Scotland | | July 12, 2011 Very bizy but very cheap Ok selection not much else to say Ok bar but probly won’t go again | | flying_pig (23), , Scotland | | December 6, 2010 Cheap, run down place. Good value but dindgy looking & usually very, very busy - at night anyway. All the usual suspects when it comes to bottles, not sure about on-tap. Okay place for a quick one when you have half an hour to waste, just don’t expect a seat. | | JohnRMurdoch (208), Glasgow, Scotland | | March 20, 2010 [ Updated February 12, 2011 ] Downmarket bar opposite side entrance to Central Station. Either very noisy or deadly quiet depending on time you visit. Has 4 interesting real ales on tap but they are sometimes not well cared for. Worth a visit if you are passing through Central Station. | | berkshirejohn (109), Bracknell, England | | February 22, 2010 A rather basic and run-down pub near the Central Station. OK for a quick pint of Kelburn, but I couldn’t see any other attraction. | | MrBeachtwig (13), Sandared, Sweden | | December 12, 2007 I was there on a Sunday evening and the place was almost empty. Nice bartender, but young with almost no knowledge of their beers. 4 real ales (while drinking a real ale from Kelburn I found myself talking to their manager, who also were visiting the place) and some other taps with standard beers. Nothing special on bottle. | | KnutAlbert (212), Oslo, Norway | | August 28, 2007 Very convenient just across the street from the Central Station. Several interesting cask beers, rather crowded, but you should manage to squeeze in. | | Nuffield (85), Roseville, Minnesota | | August 3, 2007 Convenient central location. I was there in the late afternoon and the bartender and locals were chatty, but I’ve heard this gets rough at some hours. TV’s going hurts the atmosphere, which isn’t great to begin with. The selection was fine--three or four handpumps working when I was there, mostly interesting. Worth a stop but it’s not a regular. | | DonMagi (50), bantervile, England | | May 20, 2007 This is a small hidden place next to central station alwasy has a kelburn and landlord on i seem to remember. 4-5 hand pumps, normally in good nick and always good friendly service. | | GarethYoung (26), Glasgow, Scotland | | September 20, 2006 Pretty cosy city centre pub with a selection of local cask ales (particularly Kelburn and Houston). Service was pleasant and friendly. Ale is served in tankards which is quite cool. |
