This place is a hidden gem. There’s probably not a lot here you can’t get with a trip to Albany but if you know anything about Gloversville, or the surrounding towns, you’ll know that this is practically the middle of nowhere. Picked up some Ithaca brews, Troegs, Southern Tier Cuvee 2, and probably would have bought a few more bottles except it’s a cash only business. That’s the only major drawback. The place itself doesn’t look like much from the outside, or inside for that matter, but nearly half the store is dedicated to beer. The other half is like a convenience store. Make sure you spend a little time looking as the beer is spread out and some hard to get to. The guy working behind the counter was friendly and offered suggestions and random chit chat about beer. Overall, if you can get past the cash only thing, this is a must stop if you happen to be in this part of the state. I couldn’t find anything else within an hour of where I was visiting.
