Nice place though a bit out of the way. There was a bike race when we arrived blocking traffic throughout town. Sat outside and ordered the sandwiches and taster trays. Got a short tour of the brewery and picked up a glass or two. Would visit again.

Very neat spot, quick visit with tight timeline. Small draft list but interesting. Some cute girls and friendly staff running around. Reasonably priced, very up scale for the small town but nothing fancy. Had outside seating but was extremely crowded at the time. Food seemed good but didn’t order any.

Odd experience, very short because of time constraints. A more modern feel than most other Belgian countryside spots. Service was excellent despite crammed restaurant, one large room split by a bunch of decor, shelves and such, very family-like. I’ll try the patio next time. Disappointing draft list was quite small and had only 3-4 de cam beers, more guest lambics than anything else. I’d definitely try it again, but the list was so small and standard that the time required to get there may not be justified.

family restaurant in small, scenic town. nice old brick building. old brick, old wood ceilings. hops draped from rafters. de cam jonge lambiek and krieklambik on tap. friendly, helpful server. picture menu for food for those who struggle with flemish. great place. bunch of old antiques, a bird cage, antique games for kids. guns and puppets strewn about. neat place. neat beers.

Veru cosy place. You can try to drink De Cam Lambiek, Kriekenlambiek, Faro with luck.

A very nice place indeed if you want to sample the De Cam lambics, as well as many others. Food’s ok. I don’t actually know if the non-lambic part of their menu is all right as well... Guess I never bothered :-p

Right next to the De Cam brewery, which I have never seen open. No matter, the geuze and lambic are here, and in flights from a variety of lambic producers. Staff is friendly and efficient. A must-stop for lambic lovers.

Funny old place. As much a community centre as a classic lambic cafe, so not quite as atmospheric. One time I was there there was a rather raucous accordion player though. Lambik, kriekenlambiek and faro out of bottles filled across the courtyard, served in ugly but charming stoneware mugs. Another place where it’s only the beer tourists who drink lambik. Food’s not bad but the price of food in rural Belgium always gets me. It’s worth going on a Sunday arvo so you can take a look into the ’stekerij’. Worthwhile more for the beers you can’t get anywhere else than the atmosphere.

Popped in with my wife in 2005 for a quick lambic in this fairly new looking peoples’ pub. Good lambic, served as it should be in a stone mug. De Cam products and also other lambics available. Nice place to visit in quiet Gooik.
