| Nisse666 (23), Göteborg, Sweden | | September 30, 2009 [ Updated October 18, 2009 ] Nice value!
Se comments from last five speakers!
Last time I had a lot of Swedisg on tap and a Russian Ipmeral Stout (Rasputin) - very nice! Must rerate - had a Golden Draak - extremly nice, and they had those nice wee French rinny susages mmm.
the cheif is a funny guy.
| | sebletitje (78), Tampa, Florida | | June 27, 2009 Visited with Gnoff and other homebrewers after the annual Göteborb homebrewers fest.
Very cozy inside with a persian atmospehere in a cellar like place under the building.
Plenty of good local/Swedish beers to chose from as well as many Belgian and a surprisingly good amount of US imports.
This is where I sampled my 2007 bottle of Kaggen.
Food was fish wrap style burrito with a Swedish twist.
Prices were ok for the food, but the beer remains overly pricey for anybody not living in Sweden, US beers will run you anywhere from 7$ for SN, to 30$ for 3F.
Atmosphere was nice; service good, the owner has his own style, and really do frown upon anybody asking for any crappy beers, as indicated by all the signs on the wall.
Would def. love to visit it again. | AlbertC (7), Göteborg, Sweden does not count - explanation | | May 23, 2009 Really nice chill-out bohemian place. Great selection. Got served a Närke Huvill in Newcastle Brown Ale glass, but apart from that a very nice place. | | gyllenbock (19), Stockholm, Sweden | | May 1, 2009 Very nice and charming little place with a huge selection of good beers from particularly Scandinavia, USA and Belgium.
The owner, Reza seems to be a very nice guy. Visited in April 2009. | | Scauca (22), Lovere, Italy | | May 1, 2009 [ Updated May 7, 2009 ] Nice little "three rooms" in the basement floor. Carpets on the walls, nice jazz music, a lot of nice belgian, scandivian and american bottles for quite excessive prices, a nice selection on tap. The food is quite good. Good relaxing premise. Reza is very friendly. He rocks (or better...he "jazzes") | | Ljunkan (10), Karlstad, Sweden | | April 26, 2009 Really cosy place with a big selection of Scandinavian and american microbrews. Of course a lot of belgians too. I tried the Sunturnbrew from Nögne Ö and it was really nice. Reza seemed like a really nice guy! | BeerOrNoBeer (3), , Michigan does not count - explanation | | April 10, 2009 A quaint little pub with a huge beer selection and nice but limited menu. The eclectic decor is best described as "Jazzy-Persian", clean and cozy with candles and the soft sounds of acoustic jazz. The crowd is friendly and there is often live music on Wednesdays, featuring some great talent. And of course, Reza is a trip! | honkensponken (1), , Sweden does not count - explanation | | March 26, 2009 Went there for the first time last night. Decorations odd but not bad. Great beer, good prices. Music fine, didn´t have any food as the selection was too boring. But hey we came for beer and we got great beer, will return. | | Jonte (31), Gothenburg, Sweden | | February 28, 2009 A must visit if you are a beer lover visiting Gothenburg. Good selection of swedish micros on tap. Good selection of bottled beers, many from Belgium. Usually not overcrowded, so it is possible to get a table even in the weekends. Good prices. | | yngwie (82), Kristiansand, Norway | | August 28, 2008 A funny little place hiding away in a basement just off the main street. Very friendly owner, he even brought a beer for free for us to sample, the delicious Goudenband. Fun thing with the Duchesse de Bourgogne altar. The selection is good too, with Scandinavians, Belgians and Americans amongst others. The food isn’t impressing, but far from bad, works nicely as a quick meal when you’re having a few. A place to return to. |
