| Onenote81 (72), Winston-Salem, North Carolina | | May 3, 2012 Originally reviewed: 1/19/11. Stopped in for lunch after checking out their website and seeing a decent tap list listed. Nice fireplace outside greets you as you walk in. The place was packed out at lunchtime, but the bar area was surprisingly vacant. I sat at the bar. The inside of the place is pretty cool-looking. I like the decor and setup. It’s a double-decker, which is also a nice feature. The bartendress was helpful and friendly. We talked beer some. She knew more than some, which was nice. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with fries. Everything was excellent, but the fries were sparse. Could stand to throw a few more of those on the plate. Their tap list was pretty decent. Lots of locals represented: Lone Rider, Big Boss, Duck-Rabbit, Highland, Foothills, etc. Also carried some from New Belgium, Starr Hill and some others. Had a good bottle selection, but I didn’t catch many of them. All I know is they had some Stone, so that sits well with me. All-in-all, this is a cool place and nice addition to the ever-growing beer scene of GSO. | boozeslinger24 (1), North Carolina does not count - explanation | | July 25, 2011 Great draught selection and on my last visit they had added a new high end beer menu that had some excellent brews listed on it. | PanzerI (1), Greensboro, North Carolina does not count - explanation | | April 14, 2011 One of the top beer selections in Greensboro. Great for business travel or after work drinks. They do beer tastings as well on a monthly basis.
Definitely worth a look. | | CreativeJenna (10), Jamestown, | | April 11, 2011 Excellent selection of draft & bottled beers! | | BeerSnobBob (11), North Carolina | | January 15, 2011 [ Updated July 15, 2011 ] Great NC Classic with lots of NC craft beers.
