Stopped in for lunch. Has its own small parking lot but street parking was easy too. Pizza was delicious, and is the main reason for coming, although the taplist is large and had some interesting choices. decent prices and good service. What more do you need?

Located across the street from Bestway in a cool little block. Pizza’s pretty solid by southern standards but the tap list is fantastic and the vibe is relaxed and friendly. There’s something in the air in this state as they seem to be able to do the neighborhood bar better than anywhere else in the region. I’d definitely go back if I was in the area.

smallish restaurant with a dozen-ish taps of high quality selections and quite a few bottles as well. food was well above average. does a good job of keeping taplist up to date on beermenus

Great pizza, and the sandwiches are good as well. A good selection of beer. The service has been up and down but overall is sufficient. The price is a little on the high side for what it is. Great location and atmosphere.

Small selection but good rotation of eclectic brews on tap. Often has a keg of Sexual Chocolate from Foothills as soon as possible. Fridge full of usual domestic macros and NC micros. Exceptional pizza but $$$.

Originally reviewed: 5/29/09. Stopped in here for lunch today while I was a few stores away checking out Bestway. Sat at the bar. Nice decor in the place. Alot of stones, vines and everything’s made of wood. Very cool. I got a slice of pepperoni pizza with a salad. The salad was pretty average, but the pizza was very, very good! Great thin crispy crust. Huge pepperonis. Very nice. They had about a dozen craft brews on tap, and all were from NC, which I thought was cool. Highland, DR, Natty’s, French Broad, and Carolina Brewing were all there. Nice touch. They had an odd assortment of canned brews as well. Nothing bottled. I think they had a few Oskar Blues in the cooler. The service was decent, but nothing fantastic. Helpful and kind. I really like this place, and if I get back to this area again (which I guarantee I will with Bestway being fantastic) I’ll stop in again.

Very nice local pizza place with lots of organic toppings. The menu includes a good variety. I would recommend the fried mozzarella as an appetizer - delicious. The beer selection features all local brews on tap with a decent selection of macro and micro cans in a cooler. The food was great and the beer was fresh. This is a great place to eat if you’re going to make a beer run at BestWay across the street. The service was very good. I would definitely recommend checking it out. We will definitely be back.
