My final stop on the whirlwind lunchtime beer tour of Greenville, SC, via car. Beer section here was configured awkwardly, in a weirdly triangular section of the store tucked away with a separate entrance and all. But it was definitely worth a stop, given the growler station and the above average selection of local and national craft, with a fairly decent selection of imports too.

Great selection...only 4 taps but what they get is good and bargain priced. Definitely your best overall option for craft beer in the Upstate.

Nice store...a good temp controlled room for the high-end beers. Good selection, but rarely any gems.

Odd duck. Large selection but little of note. A couple pricy Cascade fruit sours, but almost no local or even regional beer. Only singles in the cooler, no mixed sixes etc. Discount for cash/debit.

This is basically just like any other Green’s that you might find elsewhere. They have a decent selection of beers to go around with quite a few limited releases popping up every now and again. If you pay in cash you can get a nice little discount as well. Service here kinda sucks unless you are looking for wine, but there are one or two people there who know their beer. Overall this is a nice location to check for some harder to find brews, but I wouldn’t go more than twice a month.

Green’s has a pretty good selection, and I like their Belgian / Craft beer cooler, especially during the summer. They do a good job getting interesting offerings into the store. I’ve never found their service to be anything special, but I usually don’t ever ask for any help. They also run interesting sales on overstocks or soon to go out-of-date items, which you can sometimes get very cheaply. They also have a limited amount of glassware, which is nice. Worth stopping by if you are in the area.

They have a pretty good selection, especially since SC popped the cap, but it isn’t as extensive as other Green’s locations. They do have the climate-controlled room for the upper end beers, which is nice. The best part is pricing, of course. Reasonable prices with a discount for paying cash. I won’t make any special trips, but if I’m in the area I’ll stop by here again.

Green’s is pretty solid, which is a good thing because when I was in the area on business there weren’t very many other options. They probably carry a big chunk of what makes it to SC. Prices were pretty good, seemed about right. I would have liked more singles options but that’s okay. Overall if you’re in the area this might be your best choice.
