I am surprised to see the last review is so old...things have changed a bit. The Keweenaw Co-Op has raised the bar of beer available in the Keweenaw. With new additions as of late 2010, early 2011, they are featuring quite an array of Shorts brews (around 10-12), Ommegang, Stone, Rogue, and Moylans, beers that were never available this far north before. Besides the new brews, they have a great selection of Bells, New Holland, Founders, and some decent imports from Belgian and Germany. The turnover has improved over the years, but some beers will sit for a while. Out of the sunlight so that is good. With that said, if you are travelling from the lower peninsula, and looking for a Founders or Shorts product that has been sold out for a few weeks, stop in, good chance they’ll have it. As a side note, if you are hungry, the deli is fantastic. Lots of good, wholesome tasty treats from local farmers and surrounding areas.

For rarer imports (like Belgians and English beers), this is the ONLY place to find them in the Keweenaw. Be warned, some of these beers spend some time on the shelves. Lots of Michigan seasonals and micros. Practically no macros.
