| UDBeernut (53), Saugerties, New York | | April 23, 2012 Wife and I stop here for a quick beer after dinner nearby. Sat at a well lit bar, festive crowd for a monday. Bar tender was attentive but not overbearing. 8 beera on tap tonight served in proper pint glass (wish my pils was served in a pilsen glass). Over all good stop, would surely return. | | EricSisson (11), Harrisburg, Pennsylvania | | April 4, 2012 The Milk Stoudt makes the less than attentive staff bare able. | maltiness (7), Harrisburg, Pennsylvania does not count - explanation | | December 8, 2011 As I am a fan of the Lancaster location, I couldn’t be happier that the Harrisburg location is just down the road from me. always great food and service (especially from Bob the bartender). | | fredandboboflo (62), East Setauket, New York | | November 13, 2011 Sort of a dreary place on a Sunday evening, very dark and subdued. Bartender was emotionless yet too awkward to be considered simply businesslike, though not problematic at the end of the day. Selection was generally standard brewpub stuff, but certainly a step above a color-spectrum brewpub. BBQ chicken pizza was sort of odd, overly doughy and underly cheesy/chickeny, though the BBQ sauce itself was tasty, with a nice sweet tanginess. Would be curious to know how that translates to the higher-priced entrees on the menu, seemingly aiming for a higher quality than expected in a brewery. Alas, I’ll have to wait to answer. Overall, just wasn’t feeling the vibe. | | LilBeerDoctor (185), East Setauket, New York | | November 13, 2011 This place was fairly empty on a Sunday evening. A sports-bar/restaurant set up tuned to the football game. The bartender was a bit awkward, although friendly. There were maybe 6 or so regular taps plus 2 seasonals. I tried the milk stout and IPA, the former was average and the latter was pretty good. I split a pizza for dinner and it was quite tasty. Overall, a good stop although the atmosphere was a bit off-putting. | | nike (36), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania | | September 6, 2011 Plenty of parking, food is good but overpriced. Good selection of their beers....and fresh, but overpriced for this establishment. But, they know people will stop regardless. Worth the stop, I’m glad I did. I would like to visit their original place in Lancaster. | | Lubiere (349), Ottawa, Ontario | | May 3, 2011 Located in what appears to be a big chain restaurant local in an old strip mall type building, empty on the Sunday PM i was there (a few more patrons arrived after). Service was attentive and friendly, beers are rather uninspired (except the stout) but food was quite good. I had the smoked wings in Bourbon sauce, quite nice and juicy with a French onion soup. Sampler is 10 X 4 on. for 10$, but alas beers were boring. | Tricountybeer (1), Dillsburg, Pennsylvania does not count - explanation | | November 14, 2010 Brent the Manager, Very nice Gentleman. Our Tri-County beer club made a visit to the facility , for diner and beer rating . he took all the time needed to help us, as well as show us some of his concoctions. Tri-county Beer club will return again simply because Brent made it a memorable time . Thank you Brent | | shawnr33 (10), Detroit, Michigan | | May 29, 2010 Milk Stout was delicious but the Hop Hog IPA was pretty mild and malty for what I had hoped. I don’t think they had a beer over 60 IBU’s so if your looking for flavor in that department go somewhere else. Food wise I had chili and a burger which was very good. | | weihenweizen (63), Charleston Area, West Virginia | | February 23, 2010 Food is good (I had the pulled pork). Service is pretty good and the beer is ok. All their beer are made at the brewpub. It is a pretty nice place overall, but the beer is just ok. |
