Good service and seasonal real ales. Good beers althought selection’s isn’t huge. Good atmosphere but quite noisu when full. Still good place to drink ale and play chess.

English style, not a huge selection but found a couple of interesting Finnish and English beers to try. Good service and friendly but a slight language barrier on the second visit

Street corner pub that really looked like a typical English pub. Two English real ale on cask, both from Dark Star. Relaxed, inviting and friendly atmosphere. Part of the Oluthuone places in the Finnish capital. Only a short walk from Villi Wäino or the Bruuveri (pub crawl with Matti in Helsinki, 06.02.2011).

Regularly changing real ale in cask available. Otherwise quite basic selection of beers. Nice English pub atmosphere. Darts.

Real ale in cask available. Regular rotation. Friendly staff. Dark English style pub. Also theme weeks during the year. Good toasts.

I first walked past this pub before it was open and it looked like many of the stereotypical ’English’ pubs that you find abroad. I turned out to be wrong as once I got inside I found it to be very cosy and authentic. The beer range is reasonable although not incredibly extensive. Worth a visit though.

a bit dark and shady. doesn’t seem as clean as I’d like. OK selection and bonus for the real ales.

Clean, and dark, quite spacious. Like a sophisticated English pub, but without the yuppies. Very well-cellared cask ales, rotating regularly, but alas the selection isn’t fantastic.

I would say this is my home pub and visit here quite frequently. The beer selection is not the best possible, but it’s quite broad. Like others said, they have monthly changing real ale on tap. I would steer away from the toasts which used to be better, but are quite generic nowadays. They have two dart boards and a tv showing all major football games (I think..) and they host a pub quiz.
