An alright place. Good location, poor selection, nice staff though not that knowledgeable. Pour bottle-conditioned ales’ dregs in even without asking.

Poor selection. Least interesting of all Oluthuone chain pubs in Helsinki. No interesting beers. Fake interieur. Gives Rotterdam a bad name. Long live Feyenoord!

Ambiance is OK, but last time I was there ( noveber 2009) the selection was quite poor. Good service, haven´t tried their food

OK ambiance, music so low that it’s easy to talk. good tables and seats. ok selection. Some tapas on the counter, but a bit expensive. good location

I’ve visited this place a few times, both the terrace and inside. Both are really nice, but summertimes the inside has been quite hot, so if there’s space on the terrace go there. The service is usually quite modest, and also a bit uninspired. Some of the crew can be quite talkative and actuallty know something about the beers they serve too. The selection seems to be quite non-changing on a bigger scale, but occasionally they have some surprises.

What they said. Been here 3 times. First time it was new, and had a pretty OK selection of beers, some quite novel and interesting. Second time I was in there was nothing interesting at all. Third time ditto. Not bothering with a 4th visit unless someone tells me otherwise. Bollocks, I did, and I had a great beer in dreadful condition. No 5th time, I promise.

I comment this solely by the terrace as I haven’t spent time inside other than getting a beer and visiting the toilet. I’m actually quite surprised that propably one of central Helsinki’s best and most popular terraces offers this good variety in beers. I can’t comment on the staff very much, but they are friendly and know which glass to serve your beer from. The inside of the bar seemed pretty tacky..

A new chain pub, decorated in a "old" marine style (the fake dirt didn’t actually impress). Didn’t find it very pleasant to stay at, either, although there were not many people at the time. Selection was quite poor, Chimay blue was served ice cold (which was bad!) from a La Trappe glass (which was ok). What can you say about a place that’s specialized in cheap Dutch lagers... A good place to pop in for a quick one, if you’re going to see a movie in Tennispalatsi (about 50 meters across the square).
