One of my favourites, in particular when Petteri’s serving. But all the staff are good. They know what they’re selling and are very friendly. Very good selection, but the fancy stuff costs more than my poor estonian wallet can justify. Nice cosy feel, I love the little booths. Real ale is always a plus. No trip to Helsinki is complete without a stop here. Very central location, so there’s no excuse to miss it. Easiest way to find it is to come out of the central railway station, under then stone men with the balls, and just cross the road, and walk straight on into the shopping centre. As you pop out the other side in a courtyard, you’re basically there. If coming from stockmann, cross the road and enter the courtyard - you’re there!

Central location (but maybe a bit tricky to find for the first time) in Helsinki. Quite typical "chain pub", but selection is interesting enough to visit frequently. They also serve real ale.

Pub in a middle of a shopping mall. From outside it looks like a typical tourist trap. But once inside it just typical english-style pub. Quite noisy despite of early hours (noonish). We did had our "last tick before your train leaves" which I was told is Helsinki tradition. Friendly staff.

A deceptively large English style pub in the city centre. A decent tap selection including one real ale. The remainder of tap beers are dominated by British and Finnish brews. The bottled selection had some of my favourites and was pretty decent for this part of the world.Great service and good wifi. I feel at home here.

Centrally located, but a bit tough to find, in a corridor between the railway station and Stockmann (called Citykäytävä). A nice selection of bottled beers, a couple of rotating taps and one cask available as well.

OK bottle selection, Finnish micro beers on tap. And usually real ale as well. Knowledgeable staff, quite OK prices for being Helsinki. Good place to drop in for a couple of beers, good situation near the central railway station.

A place that’s a quite hard to find. It’s inside the shoppinge centre called City Center. The pub serves real ale, the beer of the month of the Oluthuone pub chain, one rotating Finnish micro brew and varying bottle selection. The staff normally know what beers they have available and are friendly. Food is next to nothing: bags of crisps and some pieces of salami.

Pretty hard to find inside a shopping centre across main railway station. Nice place with a terrace (the roof is actually open), british style pub. Real ales and some interesting products.

An English-style pub in the center of Helsinki. Nice ambiance, comfortable to sit around in and not too crowded usually. The selection is a bit low key, mostly English stuff though Brewdog and Guinness as well. One real ale pump - always in good condition though not always very interesting. The rotating taps of the Oluthuone-chain. Service is knowledgeable even if the bartenders can be a bit standoffish for non-regulars. Prices are... Well, fairly alright considering the location.

Comfy English-style pub right in the middle of the most hectic area in Helsinki. Nice place to stop at after shopping, especially if you’re heading our of town, as Kitty is located right near the metro/trai/bus station. Part of the oluthuone- chain of establishments, so the selection is usually limited to whatever has been decided by them. But with a real ale tap and now-and-then- special imports, there’s usually something interesting to be drunk, mostly from Denmark or GB. Haven’t tried the food except the ’tapas’ which is basically just grocery store cheese/olives/meats in little portions.
