No Longer In Business

Served me good beer, but felt a little cold. The barman who was half-cross-dressed kept making me think "what have I just seen?", and drew my attention from my beer. Didn’t seem a very cheerful place. Typical Helsinki prices, and typical Pivnice selection (just a little below typical Oluthuone selection).

A pretty big bar, part of the oluthuone- chain. Selection contains the usual oluthuone- beers, but I’ve found that it is more probably to find something new and interesting outside of the oluthuone- beer menu here than most of those places. Located a bit in the middle of nowhere, and a lot of times practically empty. Bar snacks.

Of all four Pivnices in Helsinki Milenka is the biggest and has the best selection. Big patio. Sometimes nice surprises on taps. It’s not close to anything but not that far away if you’re in Kallio/Hakaniemi.
