| SaintMatty (39), Tallinn, Estonia | | August 2, 2008 A fairly comfy and cosy place with friendly service and a fairly relaxing atmosphere (I visited in the afternoon) too. Teerenpeli’s own beers and ciders on tap. The beers are reasonable and this place is worth a visit. | | spporras (21), , Finland | | June 26, 2008 Teerenpeli Kamppi, which is located next to Kamppi shopping mall, has been a pub since 2006 and brewpub since May 2008 when the first house beer Leuhkalasse (bitter) was introduced. The concept is the same as with, now already retired, Teerenpeli Kaisaniemi: one house beer is brewed at the site and the rest of the house beers come from Teerenpeli main brewery in Lahti. Teerenpeli brews available in June 2008 were Onnenpekka (pale lager), Laiskajaakko (dark lager), Kesähessu (pale ale) and Vauhtiveikko (weizenbier). Also, 3 Teerenpeli ciders were on tap. The service is very friendly (based on many visits) but the place looks a bit sterile to me. Anyway, due to the excellent location it is easy to pop in for a beer or two. | | liinis (21), Helsinki, Finland | | April 24, 2008 Very nice and welcoming place. It’s new, clean and has well separated sections. The toasts are very big and good, but unfortunately the price has gone up. Good music usually. | | oh6gdx (93), Vasa, Finland | | April 15, 2008 Very close to both the Flagship alko, as well as the Kamppi shopping centre. Went here for a quick visit to check the selection, and it seems to be quite similar as the old Teerenpeli Kaisanniemi used to have. Worth to go for their own beers. The other stuff is quite normal stuff. | | Tranquillity (16), Espoo, Finland | | March 27, 2008 Clean, almost sterile environment but very stylish. You can take posh guests there without feeling ashamed, and they have a good selection of their own beers and ciders. | | FatPhil (127), Espoo, Finland | | June 13, 2007 Having Teerenpeli’s own beers is the biggest plus about this pub. Always at least 4 to chose from - check the pump clips, the blackboard isn’t always accurate. Occasional vinyl-wielding jazz DJ adds to the ambiance - John Coltrane and ruis beer are a wonderful combination. Buy your next beer before you finish your previous one, as you’ll want it to warm up a little. | | chriso (164), London, England | | April 18, 2007 Modern place on the edge of the Kamppi shopping complex. Goes for a chic and trendy ambience but ends up feeling a bit sterile. The Kaisaniemi location has a more pubby feel and, generally, the same beers (the Kaisaniemi branch actually had a special Easter beer that this one didn’t when we visited) so there’s not really any reason to visit this one unless you’re in the Kamppi area and short of time. The Sulami toasts, whilst hardly haute cuisine, provide decent filling pit stop sustenance.
