This place has the ambiance of your usual sports bar. Tons of TVs and pool tables. Of the 30 taps the usual domestics were there but they also had Stone IPA, Fat Tire and some good imports. The surprise here was the bottle selection which included some nice Belgian and German beers. The waitresses were less than knowledgeable about the beers but the bartenders had a good grasp of what they were serving. It’s got good beer, sure. It’s just that they’re the same beers that are available at most bars that serve stuff other than BMC. But, for Houston, that’s a welcome addition. |
