Great place to hang out and have a pint. Great Welsh Rarebit, and great venue for a variety of music. If you’re in Houston for St. Patrick’s Day, an absolute blast is to be had here. Only drwback is service can get slow during peak times.

This place is a Houston icon....good independant music in a nice atmosphere with rather good food....and great selection of beer, both local and international.

One of my favorite pubs. A quaint and friendly place. Great ambiance, decent beer selection. They have Saint Arnold (local brewery) IPA Cask ale, which is a plus. Pretty good food, too. The booths even have pillows for you to position however you want. Other cool features include: keep the glass night, Irish session (live music), open mic nights, board games are available to freely use.

One of my favorite places in Houston! Come to this place not for the beer (though the selection is well above average), but the music. Mucky Duck has some of the greatest singer songwriters traveling through!

One of the few places in Houston with smoke-free nights. Good selection, great food, nice atmosphere.

Being that any sort of beer scene in Houston is elusive to one that makes it there so infrequently I was glad my gf drug me to a different place that while not great is quite good. Delicious food on my first try and seeing the Dogfish tap upon entering let me know I would not leave dry (humorously labeled 60 second). They have beers typical of a pub in Texas along with a handful that make in interesting including Bridgeport IPA and Red Seal, plus a Belgian or seven in bottles.
