(Visited 10/2013): Saint Arnoldís brewing facility is in a large brick building near downtown Houston on Lyons Avenue. There is street parking in front of the building and a lot across the street.
The exterior is pretty, with the brewery name on all sites and above the entrance. There was an old car painted tie-dye with the logo out front on my visit too.
Once inside, you have to go upstairs a couple levels to reach the tasting room. It is set up like a large beer hall with long communal tables. There is a walk up bar on either end. The brewery is visible from the room, and the decor incorporates a lot of Saint Arnold/church themes. There is a large board next to the bar listing the available beers.
Beers are purchased via a token system when a tour is taken, or can be purchased like at a typical tap room. On my visit the 8 or 9 taps included a few of their flagship beers plus some one-offs and seasonals like a Weizenbock, Fresh Hop, Saison and a Bishopís Barrel series augmented with Brett. They also have a few bottles, including more of the Bishopís Barrel series. The bottles must be consumed on premise though.
Service on my visit both at the bar and during the tour was good. The staff clearly cares about what they are doing. The tour includes a souvenir glass as well.
Saint Arnold does not offer food.
Overall this is definitely a worthwhile visit for beer lovers in the Houston area.

A fun place to visit on a Saturday. Place was packed with picknicking folks, seated on long Oktoberfest tables. 8 to 10 taps of goodness. The best deal: 8$ for a tour, a glass and 4 tokens.

Pretty cool brewery, bought a set of tokens and had some beers before the tour. looked like regulars bring in big mugs for fills at the same price.

A very fun place to visit on Saturdays. A large open area with big bar at the end. You get four drink tickets and can bring your own food for a picnic type set up. Gets very full so if you donít want to sit on the floor, get there early. A great place to get together with friends.

They have almost all of their common beers on tap. Entry price is $7 for a medium sized taster glass and four pours. The staff is friendly. The ambiance is of a giant beer hall with long picnic like tables. Unfortunately, no food.

Lived in Houston forever and just now went to check it out. Itís cool, and if itís a little overcrowded, itís not their fault. Houstonians just need to get with the program and open more breweries to give us more options. Big tables, bring lawn chairs, games, the family, and your own food. Nice deal, and a good time. Havenít done the tour yet though. Maybe next time. And maybe some kind of specialty brew would be nice, but those are rare from St. Arnold.

Rating for the new brewery. Great tour and a very worthy stop. Stopped by on a Monday and it was still pretty busy. Great value, you buy the glass and get tokens. Tour was nicely informative and guided by a very spirited Brock Wagner. Massive brewery with lots of room to grow. Beer service area is a massive brew hall with two different draft stations. They do have a beer engine, but apparently it hasnít been operated in months. No specialty beers on tap during my visit, but still got two new beers I havenít had (being out of Texas for a while). Rootbeer was very stellar on tap. I had a blast and would visit any time that Iím in Houston.
