Really liked this place, good music, craft kegs and a rotating cask on the bar and 50/100 bottles in the fridge. Nice selection covering all styles. Busy bar but had no problem finding a seat on a saturday night Bar staff were very helpful and patient, took time out to show some of the more exotic bottles in the fridge and make a killer Mojito. Great little bar.

Huddersfield’s answer to a hipster bar. Low-lighting, pinball machines, good tunes, bearded barmen. There’s 2 beers on cask plus 8 or so on keg. The keg options seemed to try to appeal to a wide crowd. Everything from Brooklyn one-offs to macro swill featured. The bottle selection was pretty unexciting save for a few Kernel bottles. Overall, this place might offer a good night out, but it’s not a beer mecca by any means.

My third visit to Zephyr and it never lets me down. Great selection of beers, the new Nogne range is fantastic, first time I have seen the beer font in the UK. Yes it gets loud (and busy) but the service was first rate and the music was very very good, none of this modern rubbish. They were happy to chat about all the beers on offer and gave out free samples to anyone with an interest. Refreshing to find a town centre bar which actually appeals to me.

Visited the pub to check out the recently installed Nøgne Ø taps. This meant the beer was excellent - sadly, the place itself isn’t so much. Music far too loud for conversational drinking, the atmosphere is cold and the bar staff just weren’t all that interested in new custom. At one point they looked straight over the head of my GF to serve a couple of clubnight-looking ladies who walked in about 10 minutes after she’d been stood at the bar waiting to be served. Not keen.
