| frankcost (10), Minnesota | | February 26, 2012 Bad experience had to track a worker down to get some questions answered very snobby and seemed like didn’t want to help me. Good selection of beer for a border store small aisles eh not my fav place at all | DasBierChef (5), Lucan, Minnesota does not count - explanation | | December 15, 2011 This is essentially the younger brother of Casanova’s. Slightly different selection of beer, but not as broad or exciting as the one downtown. | | esjaygee (204), Oak Creek, Wisconsin | | October 18, 2011 Not a bad liquor store, but definitely not up to Casanovas standards. There were some brews available in singles and most of the same stuff you’d find at Casanova at similar prices. | | BVery (227), Burnsville, Minnesota | | August 28, 2011 Solid spot, and one of the 2 must-stops on my trips from the Twin Cities out to Hudson to make a beer run (the other being Casanova, obviously). Most of what they have can also be found at Casanova, but they do have a nice selection of brews, including several (e.g. Three Floyds, New Glarus) that I can’t get in MN. | | ZMOS (14), Minnesota | | August 11, 2011 A= Reminds me of a big-box store... fairly plain and a little cramped. S= No on-floor sales help. Everyone was at the registers up front. S= Nice to get a few goodies that I can’t get back in MN. Overall selection is good and most looked fresh. F= N/A Value= All beers were reasonably priced. Liquor was on the high end! O= A good place to stop to get beer we can’t get back home. Fairly convenient to I-94. | | XmnwildX12 (14), Farmington, Minnesota | | April 13, 2011 Much smaller selection of BYO 6-pack than Casanovas. Found a couple interesting beers to try out and they did have some Namaste. But I will make Casanovas my number one choice. | | adnielsen (277), Fort Collins, Colorado | | April 8, 2011 Ok beer store to visit if you need to get a New Glarus fix. I would recommend Casanova’s over this place. The selection is ok but not excellent. | | bobbypaulson (37), Fergus Falls, Minnesota | | March 25, 2011 if you live in Minnesota this is a good place to have real chose to the cities. there are some brews (DFH, FFF) that you can’t get in MN. I have three places in the twin cities that are my go to places and what I can’t find there I go to chicones or casanova. Chincone’s has a good selection of american micro brews. The staff is knowledgable and will order you things from there distributor if they can. | | bookman10 (13), Osseo, Minnesota | | February 6, 2011 Serviceable, strip-mall liquor store. Nothing too special. | | barrelaged1 (10), Beertown, Minnesota | | December 23, 2010 This store is located in a strip center just off of Hwy 94. The store is clean and well layed out. Selection is good, but it seems that it not as good as it once was. Still worth the stop if your in Hudson. |
