Nothing special if there were better choices. The food is ok but nothing to write home about. Decent beer selection for Indiana. The staff did not know much about the beer and service was spotty.

This number may seem a bit harsh, but in relative terms (as mentioned by others here), this is the best place in Indiana. Having grown up there and gone to college there, I am certain of this. The service, at least in the 6-pack section is unpleasant - you seem as if you are always interrupting the sales clerk. But to the beer: as previously mentioned, they have a pretty good selection of different PA breweries, unfortunately, the selection they have from each of those breweries is usually limited to 1 or 2. I understand that liquor laws in PA are outdated and straining on purveyors, so a bit of leniency must be given. The food is normal Indiana fare. Good, but nothing special. So, in Indiana, you have two choices for good bottles. This is one of them. The usual PA micros, Troegs, Lancaster, Victory, Church, plus some other more readily available brews like Stone and Chimay. Prices are the best, but are OK. Tap list has gotten a bit better over the years. Not bad.

Visited this place for dinner whist in town. The restaurant is separated into three distict sections: an area of beer-stocked coolers on the first floor; a non-smoking and family friendly dining area at the entrance to the second floor; and a more adult-centered smoking/bar area further in. Overall, it had the feel of an American chain restaurant. The waitress was kind, but somewhat oblivious to us, at times. The beer selection for the restaurant was better than mediocre, but they were out of several items. The food was just average, and slightly expensive, given what was being served. The redeeming quality of the entire enterprise was a very respectible seleciton of craft and European bottles in the aforementioned coolers. Prices were very good and that had some interesting and more difficult to find stuff. Overall, probably your best option in this area of PA, but really only average in total.

Well, if you were in the city, this place wouldn’t even be worth your time. But you’re not. You are in Indiana, PA, and this is one of the only decent six pack shops here. Victory, DFH, Erie, Lancaster, Stoudt’s, Troegs.... a nice representation of PA breweries. Stone bombers are also available, somtimes DFH & Victory 750’s as well. As stated before, what they have in six-packs, they do not have on tap. But, as of recently, they added a Troeg’s tap, making it the only decent tap in town. Hopefully we can get more soon....

I added this place mainly because of the rarity of it’s 6-pack selection in Indiana Co., PA. Relatively speaking, it has the best beer selection so far in town. This restaurant has a bar/dining area upstairs, with 10 taps of standard offerings. The 6-pack store on the ground floor has a surprisingly decent selection of beers for the area, including Dogfish Head, Bells, Erie, Stoudts, Czechvar and Baltika beers. Standard macros and PA regionals, of course. Got a 6er of Raison d’Etre for $9.25. They had had WWS but were sold out. After spending 4 years in this town for undergrad, this place is truly a step up from the norm here. I’m hoping their selection will continue to grow.
