Cozy relaxed atmosphere. 4 casks. Some taps. Excellent location. Nice view from the patio. Nice place. Best in Inverness (The Blackfriars was closed on Sun night).

Great traditional pub - smallish indoor seating area and great outdoor terrace overlooking the castle (also a dining room upstairs that I didn’t visit). 6 Real ale taps rotating local and UK beers. All 6 were well cared-for and tasty when I visited. Food was surprisingly good. I was in Inverness for 3 days and managed to visit here 4 times, as it is quite convenient and, well, I couldn’t come up with a hugely compelling reason to go elsewhere (though I would have made it to Blackfriars, but they’re closed Sundays). Will return.

Picturesque small traditional Scottish pub with outdoor tables overlooking castle and river. Large screen TV with sports. Popular with tourists. Local and national real ales on tap. Beer a bit cold but overall pleasant palce to visit.
