| Dixonian (79), Dallas, Texas | | February 15, 2012 Just starting working over on this side of town and decided to check this place out one day after work. The owner is very nice and pointed out all the newest releases they had. He also does a great job updating their Facebook page when new beers come in. Prices are a bit high but that’s expected when they are one of the few good beer stores in the area. | | Mora2000 (52), Dallas, Texas | | September 11, 2010 Nice place located near DFW Airport. On my visit, the staff was very nice and seemed genuinely interested in the products they were selling. This place doesn’t have the best selection in DFW, but it has most of the beers that are available. I will definitely be back. | | northernbrews (14), Allen Park, Michigan | | September 9, 2010 Stopped in here while visiting my sister since it was quite close to her condo. Pretty small store in a nice strip mall. The one entire wall is the beer cooler. They had some random singles to build your own sixer, pretty good selection of six packs and some other domestic and foreign selections. Nothing crazy rare but was able to find some stuff I haven’t had. Wish some of the brews would have been offered warm and also wish they had an expanded single selection.....would have bought quite a few more singles if some of the sixers were broken up. Owner was very nice and helpful. Descent stop if in the area. | | blutt59 (121), Dallas, Texas | | June 18, 2010 new location in vicinity of DFW airport with most of locally available beers, mix six and cigars also, friendly help | | BMan1113VR (279), Los Angeles, California | | June 10, 2010 Great little store in an out of the way (for me) mini mall in Irving. Parking out front was easy. Walked in, greeted immediately by the owner. Nice guy, who seemed to know and care more about beer than wine (a true rarity out here in TX liquor stores (with Rick and Lonestar being another possible exception)). This place has been open for about 8 months as of June 2010. Extremely clean and well laid out store. Almost all of the beer is chilled. Some sakes I hadn’t seen before as well. Lots of singles, some glasses for sale. Pretty darn good selection for the area. All the latest products, and all of it was fresh, nothing that had been sitting for too long (except some purposely aged barley wines). I was able to pick up 3 new rates (rates, not ticks!) which is a rarity for a Texas beer store. Worth visiting, and one of the better bottle shops in DFW. |
