I usually avoid this hotel and others like it in Pakistan, because they have a tendency to explode. I like the smaller guesthouses in Pindi, or the stalwart Pearl Continental. But anyway, this place has alcohol, so it’s worth a peek. Good service, of course, and the food is hearty, filling and decent.

This place is nothing special outside of Pakistan, but one of the very few bars outside of the diplomatic areas, all of which have limited access. They have 4-6 beers all in bottles or cans and the only bar in Islamabad that I could find that has the local Murree beers. It is also pretty much the only real bar in Islamabad. Also in the side of the Hotel is a beverage shop selling the beers by the case on the street but only the Murree beers are there..
