| HopScotchnWine (11), Washington | | March 19, 2011 This is the local stop for myself. Dirty, smelly brewery that is overpriced and the food is below par. That being said they have almost all rogue beers available on tap and a good selection of guest beers. The garage sales can’t be missed as it is the only time you can get a bottle selection without being robbed. Staff is very knowledgeable and always willing to let you taste. For all the faults with this place I still come back weekly. | | mcberko (59), Vancouver, British Columbia | | December 6, 2010 Came here for some lunch. Bartender was very generous with free samples. Great selection of Rogue specialties, including many from the XS series, as well as many great guest brews (Pliny the Elder, Hercules Double IPA, etc.). The food was your standard pub affair, though quite delicious. I’d come back if in the area. | | Nikiel (10), Portland, Oregon | | November 28, 2010 Great food, good location, amazing beers on tap, both local, rogue and other amazing breweries. | | tangent (15), San Pedro, California | | December 8, 2009 My girlfriend and I ended up here to meet a few friends on my birthday [beer] trip up to Washington. It definitely had a nice cozy feeling to it. Not too busy and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately I never tried any of the Issaquah brews while there, I ended up getting stuck on the many Rogue brews they had on tap. My girl started off with a flight of 4 - Double Dead Guy, Chocolate Stout, Mocha Porter, and the Red. I ended up getting a couple pints - The Rogue Charlie 1981 and Old Crustacean ( one of my favorites from Rogue) Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Our food was amazing. I got their baked mac and cheese, one of my favorite brewpub foods. The service was great and the waitress later informed me that since it was my birthday, I could sign up for the "Rogue Nation" and receive a free t-shirt(my choice) and 2 free pints(also my choice) right then and there. That made my night! I left with a brand new Rogue T-shirt, and 2 of my pints were free! All in all a great place, I would definitely return in the future. | | BrockLanders (30), Panama City, Florida | | August 25, 2009 Enjoyed my lunch here.....good pub grub. Had a Menage A Frog draft with lunch plus an Imperial Red. This would be a nice place to hit regularly. | | Crafty07 (11), Florence, Kentucky | | December 12, 2007 A first class brewpub for a cool niche town. Small but friendly, this is must see for anyone like myself who happen to be visiting Issaquah.
The Rogue and local brew is varied and delcious. Pub food and friendly atmosphere make this a great little visit. | | BrewDad (359), Olympia, Washington | | November 28, 2007 [ Updated September 11, 2008 ] This was my first time at this Rogue so I was not sure what to expect. They had a very nice selection of beers on tap and the food was the regular Rogue pub food. The service was nice and pleasant. We where able to bring the kid into the pub and she liked the French fries. Was also able to buy several of the off styles in the bottle so I can check them out at my leisure. They have a sample tray of 4 which does not do it justice I must try to get more next time. Rogue found a nice niche up in Issaquah WA. They got a huge sports bar area if needed and the brewery is right there. Check out some of the different brands they got some good stuff. They may even start Micro Distilling in the near future. | | GeneralGao (222), Iowa City, Iowa | | September 5, 2007 Visited on a weekday afternoon. It was virtually empty, so service was very good. Typical pub type atmosphere. Nothing that sets it apart. 15 or so taps the day I visited. I had a Rogue Imperial Porter. Didn’t eat. | | Feinschmecker (53), Seattle, Washington | | September 5, 2007 In the heart of downtown Issaquah. I wish I lived near here. I envy the locals. It’s Rogue, what more is there to say. I tried the Stout/ Hazelnut beer with chocolate cake. The best dessert ever! They have bottles to go. | | jhumphries69 (33), Tyrone, Georgia | | August 28, 2007 This place is a very cool pub, just off the main drag from I-90 through Issaquah. They sell bottles to go - which could be great, but their prices for to-go beers were horrible. Prices for draft sample was good and the selection was good - *especially* if you are a fan of Rogue beer. In that case, their selection is awesome (I scored a taste of Rogue Brewer and Rogue Ten Thousand). The service was very friendly and quite knowledgeable of the Rogue and Issaquah brews. Overall, this was the most fun brewery front I visited in Seattle (Redhook was a close second, Elysian in third, and Pyramid a very distant last place). BTW, I didn’t have any food, thus an N/A rating for food. |
