| chriso (258), London, England | | April 25, 2012 Not a huge amount to see here. It’s basically a shop front for the brewery, selling Ithaca beers, merchandise and some home brew supplies. The people were friendly and knowledgeable. There’s a fair chance of someone connected with the brewing being around (rather than just sales staff) and getting a look round. Free samples from tap. Bought a couple of bottles even though there was nothing new there for me. Definitely worth a look in if you are in town. | | adnielsen (277), Fort Collins, Colorado | | March 6, 2012 Split with a homebrew shop with some very friendly staff members. Excellent beers though I wish they would use separate sample glasses or rinse the glass between beers. A bit outside of town | | jeremytoni (110), Swedesboro, New Jersey | | October 12, 2011 Decent little place to stop by if you are in Ithaca. They will pour you a free sample of all the beers that they have available. | | johnnnniee (50), Bedford, New Hampshire | | August 6, 2011 I stopped in here recently while on vacation to pick up my fill of Brute. Basically you walk into a showroom looking store front with a bar off to the right for tastings. There are a smattering of displays on the floor a various beers and sodas for sale. They also make root beer and other sodas I believe. They have some home brew supplies along the back wall. They will take you on a tour if they aren’t to busy and you ask nicely. Samples are pretty generous and somewhat free-flowing. Groler fills can be had as well. I’ve been here twice, I’ll return again. | | shadey (45), Rochester, New York | | August 5, 2011 Storefront with brewery. They provide nice-enough tours and we saw the barrels for the experimental stuff. Crowded with college student. There were even two female students the stopped as part of their run and refilled growlers that they had in backpacks. | | rudolf (93), Buffalo, New York | | August 1, 2011 A surprisingly small building with a storefront that serves as both the brewery store & a small homebrew shop. I’ve only been here on Brute release days, but the service has always been good. They have a handful of their beers on tap/for growler fills & their bottled line available chilled or at room temperature. Shirts & other swag is available too. Its a cool place to stop by if you’re in the area, or if they’ve got a special release. | | swoopjones (190), Buffalo, New York | | August 1, 2011 great staff, great beer, great prices. Brute on tap, awesome. Looking forward to the planned expansion | | Jow (59), New York | | July 20, 2011 I believe they were expanding after I visited but anyways simple shop with some nice little gifts and homebrew stuff but tons and tons of free samples. the guys working couldn’t have been nicer. so great little stop to enjoy some brew if your in the area | | j12601 (214), Poughkeepsie, New York | | January 1, 2011 Drove up for the Le Bleu release and made it into a little overnight trip. We rolled up to the brewery at 10am, right behind the guy who runs the tap room. A few minutes later once another couple cars had arrived he invited us all in side. That quick hospitality and welcoming attitude really defines what Ithaca seems to be about. A few beers were shared amongst everyone there and the taps flowed for samples as well. The place has a very chill laid back local sort of feel, and there were definitely locals showing up just for growler fills who seemed to be a bit surprised at the growing crowd. I like that they have homebrew supplies as well, very much the sort of thing that shows that they support their locals and their locals support them. Wish it was a bit closer, but I’ll be back. | | alobar (43), Lansdale, Pennsylvania | | February 27, 2010 Nice place with friendly knowledgeable service. Not to be mistaken for a brew pub. Free samples abound. Worth the visit. |
