I was amazed at first to find a craft beer place in Jeannette. The atmosphere is rather dive bar like - worn wooden floors, tables and seat more like picnic tables than anything else and tons of crap on the walls - sports memorabilia, breweriana and smartass sayings. The bar is fairly long and they have 24 taps of fairly mainstream craft brews - east coast especially, and a few imports. The staff know surprisingly little about beer. The beer prices are excellent. The menu is nothing exciting but it is all inexpensive and fairly well made. Excellent pizza and huge wings. Essentially typical bar fare. The crowd tends towards working class family types. Despite the atmosphere I have found the people working and dining there to be nicely welcoming. Considering this is Jeannette PA this place is a real find. |
