stxSS07 (1), South Chi-Burbs, Illinois does not count - explanation | | December 5, 2011 I’ve been coming here for about a year, and they have recently really made an effort to expand on their selections, acquire the latest big releases, and become more knowledgeable about their beer. I actually had a beer discussion with a couple of employees the other day, which was unheard of when I first started stopping in here. They do tend to be on the pricey side of things when it comes to limited brews though. | | monkeychugg55 (28), Joliet, Illinois | | March 20, 2009 [ Updated December 5, 2009 ] The new store is much bigger and offers a wider variety of beers. There are still two coolers of single 12’s, there are more cold bombers, and at least triple the selection of cold micro sixers. The beer selection includes beers from Three Floyds, Dogfish, Bells, Founders, Port Brewing, Ska, Lost Abbey, and Crooked Tree. Although the selection isn’t as great as Binny’s, it’s definitely a much shorter drive. | | hogan873 (14), Joliet, Illinois | | February 21, 2009 [ Updated November 20, 2009 ] They’ve moved to a much bigger store recently, and their beer selection has grown. Still, it’s just a liquor store with a nice beer selection. Service is adequate, but no one really knows beer. It’s a convienent stop for me, however I get the itch to go elsewhere for more selection. |
