| lithy (156), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania | | June 30, 2009 Standard Total Wine. Great selection, clueless staff. Lots of singles available. | | nearbeer (144), Knoxville, Tennessee | | November 28, 2007 [ Updated July 28, 2008 ] Strip mall big box store. Looks like they specialize in wine, but they have a great beer selection as well. I would estimate 90% of the selection is available as singles also. Good prices. Staff seems as knowledgeable about beer as your average Wal-Mart clerk. | | CheersMate (132), Fremont (Seattle), Washington | | November 11, 2007 I believe this place is high geared towards wine, and that seems odd in a college-aged dominated part of town. The beer selectin is pretty good, and the prices are cheaper here compared to a lot of other places. The only problem is between the first visit and the last visit the store did not seem to change their selection. At Green’s, they are constantly changing their selection, and you never kno what you could find. At Total Wine, they seem above average in their beer operation. | | ChainGangGuy (23), Canton, Georgia | | September 3, 2007 [ Updated June 13, 2011 ] In a warehouse filled from top to bottom with wines, bless Total Wine for finding some space for a decent beer selection, even allowing the sale of singles. However, none of this really matters, not really, because they actually refused to accept cash. Yes, my payment was denied, as apparently on Labor Day the ability to receive cash payments took a day off. So, drive on by Total Wine and head to Green’s, a place with a far, far superior beer selection that won’t balk at cash money. | | unclemattie (112), Georgia | | July 31, 2007 Huge selection of wine. It is a warehouse of wines. The beer selection, at first, reminded me of Costco’s beer section. Cases of beer sold at discounted prices. OK selection of single bottles. Rare countries of latin american and some asia bottles. Great prices on cases but still No signs of the mind blowing Belgian beers. Guess I’ll have to keep treking it down to Green’s. | | pintocb (21), Darsville, Georgia | | July 2, 2007 Just opened up on Barrett Pky. Best selection north of Atlanta IMO. The best thing is they have a HUGE selection of singles and let you make mixed packs. Looked like 80 to 90% of their choices were available as singles. The only area in which they are lacking is Lambic. If you are going I 75 north this place is worth the stop. Located near to Target in an old Media Play. |
