Stopped by on the way up to Milwaukee. Absolutely huge store with a pretty big liquor store attached. Clean store, good service. Huge selection of mostly 6 packs and cases, small section of bombers and 750’s. Prices seemed good, especially on the sale items. Overall a great place to load up on some beer, maybe not the best place for the traveler though.

They have a great selection of craft brews. I would say the cooler section dedicated to craft is probably about 300’ long. They are mostly 6 and 4 pack offerings, but do have a few bombers. Pricing is about as good or better than I have seen in the area. If you passing by on I94, pop off at highway 50 head 1 block east you can’t miss it. It is worth the stop. If I lived within 20 min. it would be my everyday bottle shop. Limited release stuff is limited but you can easily walk away happily with a beer haul from here. All of the sot after WI brews are available. Oskar Blues as well.

Close to home, and great prices make this my favorite beer store. Service is average when you can find someone - can’t expect the world from a grocery store. Nice selection of statewide brews. Too bad they shut down at 8:45pm.

I was in Kenosha for the day for I checked beerfly for the top place around to get NG. I pulled up to this place and right away was impressed with the size. Sadly, it was down hill from there. Almost all the beers are in a cooler which is a huge no no. The beer that was there was over 50% crappy macro stuff. I really went there for the NG. They had a decent selection, 7 regulars but only 2 unpluggeds. The rest of the selection was poor. They had some stone beers but were out of a couple. I would not go here unless you just want to get some NG, has to be better locations out there.

Woodman’s does have an everything and the kitchen sink sort of approach with the beer, like other locations there are so many crap beers from Wisconsin brewers that appear to look like ’craft’, but are probably from City Brewing. We’ve stopped here several times as the first available stop after Chicago for whatever beer or food items that aren’t available outside of Wisconsin.

Better know what your looking for but a really large selection of six packs that are refrigerated and ready to go. I go here when loading up on New Glarus and Dales Pale because they don’t come to Chicago. Grocery store is huge! Cash only by the way in the liquor store.

This place is primarily a grocery store. Know about your beer purchases here. The six-pack selection is ok and there are some singles, but just a fairly small section. However they did have New Glarus and Three Floyds, so I cannot complain. They don’t accept credit cards, but debit does work. This worked for me because I went to the outlets and picked some beer.

This is a good stop relatively close to Chicago for a few things available up in Wisconsin that you can’t get here. New Glarus and Oskar Blues spring to mind, immediately, and there is a good micro selection besides. Not much in singles but the sixers are almost all kept cold and ready to go. My favorite part about this place is it always has these weird pale lagers that you never see anywhere else but it seems to be less the case now than before. Still, if you want to try and Old Style Genuine Draft, this is still the place to go.

After being transplanted from Wisconsin I made a run up here to restock on some local beers. Don’t expect any knowledgeable employees to help you out; do your research before coming in. The selection actually seems a bit less than the ones in Madison though still blowing away your typical grocery store (as Woodman’s does in all departments).

If you happen to be in Chicago and have time to make the run this is a good stop for New Glarus, Tyranena, and a few other locals that are not distributed in Illinois. Otherwise continue up to Milwaukee or Madison for a richer selection.
