Only 5 beers available. All good but not spectacular. They are experimenting. Two of the beers were unrated. Good food. A nice place for lunch. Worth a stop if you are on the outdr banks.

Lunch stop on the way to Hatteras. Beers on tap were mainly their own, ~5 styles. Service was good, food was good. Place was not very busy when we were there. Left with a growler of their lemongrass wheat ale. Somewhat annoyed you can only use their growlers but o well.

Went twice while in the area. Both times the place was packed so we sat at the bar and passed on the grub.

Nice to have a brewery in the Outerbanks. Smallish selection of beer and a good selection of food. Some beers are of interest in particular the lemongrass wheat. Only annoying part is the amount of events with cover charges. Otherwise decent hangout with some decent beers.

Be aware this is tourist trap. Nice large church like boulding. We waited to be served 45 minutes as they were that busy. Staff seemed bit lost with this volume. We waited long time to be served. Go there when is less busy.

Enjoyed my time here. Saw The Wailers play and had some good beer brewed on premises. Food was pretty good as well.

Great brewpub...has a fair amount of local brews, all that I have tried so far have been very nice. Food is expensive but quite tasty. Atmosphere is nice and everyone is knowledgable about the brews.

Originally reviewed: 9/14/09. Stopped here for dinner with the wife the other night. This is a really unique cool-looking building. The interior is pretty cool, though it resembles a barn. There’s a nice stage for concerts and whatnot. The lighting is on the dark side, but I liked it. There’s a nice long bar to the right of the entrance that was packed when we arrived. They had 6 of their beers available that night. I got a sampler of 4 of them (5 oz pours) for only $6. Not too bad. I tried their Kolsch, Pale Ale, Brown Ale, and their Chocolate Stout. All of them were above average, but I especially enjoyed the Kolsch and the Stout. Very nice brews. The food was stellar! My wife got the crab bisque and a salad. I got the "Yardbird" chicken sandwich with a salad. The bisque was creamy and smooth with plenty of chunky crab in it. Very good. The salads were good as well as we both really enjoyed their house dressing. My chicken sandwich was good, but nothing special, though they say that’s what people go there for. Meh, it was ok. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this place and will definitely make this a regular stop when I get back to this area. Recommend.

There in the off season in October. Arrived early for dinner, the dining room was mostly empty (but the bar was nicely full) and enjoyed a good meal, quick and friendly service. Had a few beers with a nice relaxing dinner. Nice place and a great time of year to visit.

Went off season so it was very slow, but the service selection and food was pretty good.
