One of half a dozen Knoxville-area locations for this local chain. Typical upscale restaurant interior, complete with hardwood bar, is comfortable and serviceable. There is also a nice patio off of the bar area. About a third of the 30+ taps are regional micros, another third (or more) are other micros and the typical imports, with only a few dedicated to swill. Service is generally college-aged youngsters, but they seem to get the smarter ones here. Varied menu offers nothing innovative, but everything I’ve ever ordered was solidly good-to-excellent; and head-and-shoulders above comparable national chains (Chili’s, Applebees, TGIFridays, etc). Prices are a good value for the quality ($8-$15/entree; $3-4 for a pint).
