Service was unexceptional. Waitress didn’t kno what the seasonal had been that they had run out of. Didn’t inform me upfront that they were out of the seasonal. Ordered the White Mule Ale and they were out of that too - waitress didn’t inform me until I orders it. Beer selection - being out of a seasonal is disappointing but at the same time being out of one of only seven regular beers is pathetic.

I had a great experience here, the waiter didn’t know as much about the beer as I hoped, but was nice and helped as much as he could. Food was amazing, we had pizza, the beer was solid, but nothing to brag about. Really fun place on a Sunday!

good food (try the salmon). always busy. like the white mule (good story too). it’s nice to find a place where you can get a good meal and good brew.

Sitting in downtown Knoxville with a great priced craft beer in a brewpub can only mean Downtown Grill & Brewery. There really is only one downside - the selection. The beers are solid and consistent, but rarely change. Everything else is top-notch. The brewers and staff are personable and have spent many a long conversation explaining their process or talking about yeast. Don’t complain because it’s crowded - it’s crowded because it’s good.

Beer has been a little iffy on my visits here. Food is great, awesome place for a non drinking lunch.

In downtown Knoxville. Places gets very crowded for lunch. 5 beers selection on tap and some good pub food, fairly priced. Service was good, very corporate feel and atmosphere is just a lot of crowd noise. Good place but nothing exceptional.

I’ve been here twice. I enjoyed it both times. The food is good but I wouldn’t say great. I enjoyed their beer sampler to try out the different kind of beers they brew. Eating outside at sunset is a great atmosphere in downtown Knoxville. I love it.

Really mediocre brewpub beer. Nice brunch and dinner menus though. Great place to eat, I just wish they’d get a bit more adventurous. I mean isn’t the point of a brewpub to rotate your taps at a blinding pace? As long as I’ve paid attention in the past year the seasonal has been the Alt. The others have likewise not changed. Can get insanely crowded on busy nights

Nice atmosphere, I like the mash tun and conditioning tank that are in the main room of the restaurant. Service was pretty good, nothing amazing. The selection seems to be like one class of brewpubs - they only have their own beers on tap. Their beers are ok, they all seem to have somewhat harsh hop bitterness. I didn’t have any food, just their beer sampler. The value is pretty good - pints are only $3, and the sampler with 7 4oz-ish samples for $6.50. Overall, a pretty nice place.
