Nice place to drink beer from Slovakia. Price good, selection too. Bar on the Kazimierz. Mostly regional Czech and Slovakia.

Cosy little pub not far from Omerta. 11 taps, mostly regional Czech brews and standard international fare, and 2 fridges, one for some local Polish stuff and the other for foreign beers, lots of De Molen in that one. Staff speaks English and the prices are ok. Not too interesting if you’re looking for Polish micros.

One of the two best pubs in Krakow - and by a long way. The best Polish and Czech micros plus the likes of Mikkeller, Great Divide and co. The owners - if present behind the bar - will accompany you till wee hours discussing your favourite subject. For selection No.2 in Krakow , for ambience No.1.

Small place near the old town of Krakow. Not sure whether this is worth to put on Ratebeer. Yes they do have about 8-10 open beers on tap but these are regular Polish and Tsjech Pilsener plus one or two less common beers. Service is ok but not really friendly, small place, more for local people and not that cozy. Nothing too special about this one.

The inside unsuccessfully tries to come across like a cellar in spite of it being on ground level, but it’s ok. Oh, and it’s not too big. Service ok but seemingly more concentrated on catering for the foreigners, at least that was my impression. 12 taps may not sound too much though what counts is the selection, and that was rather impressive, ranging from Polish micros and Czech unfiltered beers to Mikkeller. The fridges had also plenty of good stuff in them.

The best beer pub in Krakow. Of course there are some places with more taps. But amount of taps are not the most important thing. Staff and atmosphere is more important. It is a beer pub. Not pub with beer like another places in Krakow.

I know better places..

The other international-standard beer bar in the Kazimiertz - the old Jewish Quarter south of the town that is a centre of eating and drinking, icluding Jewish restaurants but no Israeli micros yet. Multi-roomed with a small open-air terrace at the back. Good beers mainly with an emphasis on Polish micros and revival regionals, as it should be. Don’t think there is food.
