They have an adequate selection of all the major exports and a few rarities. The bonus for this place is that they sell homebrewing equipment, hops, etc. I’ve been there before when a local beer club was having a brewing demonstration by cooking wort in a heavily modified crawfish pot. I don’t know if they still do that. While Phillipe’s may have a bigger selection of rarer beers, Marcellos has a bigger selection overall. | Poobah (6), New Orleans, Louisiana

An above average selection, especially in the beer desert that is Louisiana. I stopped by as I was passing through town and loaded up for the long winter season. The staff was friendly and attentive. The only letdown is that there were no pumpkin micro’s for sale, which was my main reason for the trip. I still found a reason to pick up many a sixer, and will be enjoying them through the semi-chilly Louisiana winter. |
