Brand new brewery and I had a great time on a Saturday afternoon. Location is in downtown Lake Bluff, which is a very nice location for anything, especially a brewery. Tap room is very small, yet very comfortable and inviting. With the lack of space, there was always someone to see if you need anything. New customers looking for an afternoon pint were warmly greeted and quickly served. The staff played their own collection of music and was at the perfect decibel. Quickly made friends with the staff and fellow patrons. There was a good turnover of customers in my couple of hours there. This overall atmosphere gave the impression that I was hanging out at a friend’s house and meeting new friends. Beer is pretty good, and I found my favorites. I guess the only negatives are not really negatives. Since they are brand new, there is not much on the menu. But my panini was very good. And with the selection, there were about 6 or 7 to choose from. I tried them all, but how often do you try 10 different beers when you go out on the town? Finally, my purchased filled growler along with my pint glasses were all purchased at excellent value. My part of the world needs more places like this.
