Pros: amazing selection, lot’s of brews no available anywhere else in the AV. Cons; Price, everything is marked up quite a bit. Lots of things that may have been on the shelf for years. Overall, an excellent selection and source for rarer bottles in the AV, you pay the price, but then again you don’t have to spend the gas to drive into the city.

An Amazing selection. This is my home town go to. They have beers that nobody else around here carries. The ambiance as has been mentioned is a bit sketchy (unless crazy homeless people and hookers are your thing). The employees are friendly enough but it’s really the beer you come for and they have loads of that. Hard to find Belgians, local micros and a decent selection of US non local micros.

Very nice beer shop, although when you pull up, it doesn’t look promissing. In the back of the store is easily one of the best selections of West Coast beer I have personally seen. Owners where nice, but english is not their first language. Best thing about this place is the price of everything. Very good prices except for some of the Belgian beer, but it is imported after all. Will visit again.

(Visited 12/2007): Stopped by here on a trip from Mission Viejo to Tehachapi. Park Lane Liquor is located at the end of a strip mall on Avenue K a mile or so from the freeway. Parking is plentiful in the lot. The store should consider adding Beer to their name, because based on outward appearances a person would not expect the almost staggering amount of beer available in the store. The beer is in the rear of the store and there were a couple aisles and coolers devoted to beer. It is segregated somewhat by region, which makes it easy to hit the Western US, Imports, etc. As for the beer selection, it is too numerous to list. Brewers like Port, Sequoia, Speakasy, Nimbus etc are plentiful, as are the better known craft brewers like Stone, Sierra Nevada etc. There is also a very thorough selection of imports from the UK, Belgium and Germany plus other countries scattered around. There is also a shelf full of glassware, and they even carry some beer-related food items like Stone hot sauce. Service here is good. Despite some language barrier issues the women behind the counter were helpful. Overall I was pleasantly surprised with what a literal oasis of beer this place is out in the desert. I will definitely stop here any time I am in the Lancaster/Tehachapi/Bakersfield area.

Wow...visited Aug. 2nd and found a beautiful selection crowded onto half the aisles of this little convenience store. Stuff like (please excuse spelling) DFH Raison d’etre, Monks Sour, Vuuve, Worstyntie, Fullers 04-06’, Mad Bitch, VApeur, Fantome Chocolate and La Gourmande, Firestone Batch 1000, Zinne XMas, Cantillon, Delerium Noel, Port Brewing, Wild Dog and Horn Dog, Unibrou 04’, various 3 liter and a 9L St. Feuillien...Stone Vertical 06, Stone 9th, Hoppy Brewing, Freak Out, Belzebuth, St. Bernardus Triple and 60th Anniversary, Val-Dieu Biere de Noel, des Rocs Grand Cru, Duchesse, Caracole, Buffalo Stout, La Binchoise, Midnight Sun, Sloeber, Ename, Harvest 99 & 2000, Stille Nacht, Sam Adams Chocolate...I grabbed the last bottle of the Governator! Yeah, some may be old, but there’s gems here I’ve seen nowhere else in California...amazing!

small generic little liquor store, until you walk in. place is tiny and packed to the ceiling with a well rounded selection of beer, glasses, special edition beers, good liquor (esp. scotch) selection too. prices are good for the antelope valley, and at least not over priced which is what you would expect in a place like this.

When I saw the place I was not impressed. When I walk to the back of the store my jaw it the floor, I was not prepared for the large selection of beers. They have US, German, Belgian, Austian, and French. The prices for the most part are OK, some of the prie seem a little high. If back in the area will go back.
