CMK (5), , does not count - explanation | | March 5, 2012 Good selection. | | blackflag321 (18), Lansing, Michigan | | January 16, 2012 I check out their nice selection a couple times a year when I am on this side of town. Coolers could be better organized, but its not too troubling because I am going to look at every bottle in the store when I am there. | | riseagainstme (12), Michigan | | October 21, 2011 Pretty nice place, just starting going there but am happy with it. I just got Founders Backwoods Bastard from there for a reasonable price and they gave me one of the few that weren’t already spoken for so that made me happy. Also they have a lot of beers that I have not seen anyone else kin the area carry. | bowlnman1990 (2), Lansing, Michigan does not count - explanation | | June 13, 2011 Amazing store, huge selection. Ambiance isnt their thing though you are always around other beer and wine lovers. They are always willing to help if you have questions, and are average priced. The only real problem with this store is getting lost in the selection, they have a cooler full of beers for you to choose from with a selection of 6 packs on the shelf, but the shelves dont seem to be organized in any particular manner. If you are in the Lansing area, and love beer or wine, check out Oades. | beer_squirts (3), does not count - explanation | | May 8, 2010 I wouldn’t exactly say ’ambiance’ is part of Oades’ thing, this is a college town liquor store that carries little else. That said, the shelves are stocked by the bottle and it is easy to get lost in their huge selection. Full packs are also available, as well as a huge selection of 1.5 oz liquor shooters. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they also carry girl scout cookies when they are in-season. | | sm0key (10), Michigan | | April 14, 2010 Great place, they have a larger BYO6 area than full 6’s. They even give discounts off the listed price on BYO4 and byo6 packs. A moderate sized area of bombers too. | | Taverner (82), San Ramon, California | | May 18, 2009 A true BEER store! Unassuming outside, but inside - kid in a candy shop time. All that Michigan has to offer, they have. They even have Stone (I guess they’re everywhere.) Even obscure brands like Dragonmead. I am touring their IPAs this week. So far I am impressed. | jebb12 (7), Grand Rapids, Michigan does not count - explanation | | March 11, 2009 Good selection of both six pack and singles. Sort of pricy though. | Kirsch (1), East Lansing, Michigan does not count - explanation | | May 20, 2008 Great beer store. Has the ambiance of a beer store. Can’t expect more than that. Service has always been great. Ask questions about the products and you will get great answers whether it be beer or other types of alcohol. They also have a vast selection of beer (somewhere around 600) with basically every beer brewed in Michigan. | | Hudspart (26), Hudsonville, Michigan | | September 2, 2007 Great selection of beers and singles. As to ambiance and service, it is a beer store - what you expect. However, for good hard to find singles and a great selection, a good place to go. |
