MrFecesious (7), British Columbia does not count - explanation | | May 18, 2012 Good bar feel, but poor lighting. Bar service is good. Quite friendly to regulars, but not so much otherwise. Tap selection is limited and nothing exceptional at the time of my visit (may 18, ’12) and seems a bit expensive, since prices are comparable to Canada. Bottle selection is extensive but not much that stands out really. For a bar, it’s good, especially in this area. I’m not sure of prices, as they aren’t listed in their beer binder. They list some well aged selections, but whether they have it, is another story. I asked about some, and they didn’t have it. But their bottle list is very nicely laminated with colour photos of the bottles that aren’t available. I guess my hopes were set too high. | | BOLTZ7555 (56), Phoenix, Arizona | | March 23, 2012 So dimly lit that I had a tough time seeing the glass in front of me. Lots of brews available but nothing earth-shattering. Wasn’t hungry and just thought we’d stop in before making it to the strip. Not sure if I’d trust the food being served. Kind of dusty and dank. Likely won’t return. | cpn (3), Ohio does not count - explanation | | October 31, 2011 I was looking for a great beer bar in Vegas and found the freakin frog and i am glad I did. I love great beer and there selection is awesome. The owner greeted us at the door and showed us the cooler - it is a Wow experience. The staff is very knowledgeable and picked out some excellent hoppy beers. I especially enjoyed the firestone double jack. I would definitely recommend a trip to this bar. | | ADfan (16), Orange County, California | | October 31, 2011 Hole in the wall joint but a helluva beer selection. You can glance through their binder and look for a beer but it’s best to have somebody take you to their cooler. There you can walk through and pick out any ber you like just have them tell you how muck it’ll cost before they pop it open. My bro-in-law and I enjoyed a few beer’s here while the family went out gambling. I would definitely go back to find some hard to find beers. | | gvmdw7 (31), California | | August 16, 2011 I walked in, out of the blazing sun, and I couldn’t see a thing. There are no windows. Once acclimated I could see that the bar was trying to be many things; sports bar, live music, neon signs galore. The bottle selection is epic, while draft list is relatively small. The food selection was bar food; I recommend the chili after you’ve enjoyed a beer; the spiciness will affect your tasting. Overall, there’s something for everyone and worth the trip if you’re in town. | | ryanfolty (104), Minneapolis, Minnesota | | August 8, 2011 Just off the strip across the street from in n out burger on UNLV campus. The bar was very dark and had 10 or so on tap with about 1000 in the fridge. There was not a list of beers in the fridge so you have to look through. It would be nice if there was an electronic listing so current listings would be available. | | fata2683 (125), Tucson, Arizona | | June 18, 2011 Very nice beer bar with a vast selection of tap and bottles, some priced well, others astronomically high(Westy 12) Still worth a stop as it’s the cities only truly good beer bar. I did not eat here but there are burgers and other pub food available. | jrowe89 (1), , does not count - explanation | | May 13, 2011 Best beer collection, hands down. The beer cooler is incredible. | shueyy (3), Pennsylvania does not count - explanation | | April 24, 2011 Visiting Vegas for work looked this place up before i went it was off the strip. It was in a strip mall over by UNLV campus. The bottle beer list was incredible it was in a 57 page book so i order a Delirium Tremens on draft while i looked the book over. I was like a kid in a candy store couldn’t decide what bottle beer i wanted to try so the bartender said i’ll make it easy. He told me to follow him to the walking cooler and showed be what bottles they had made a few suggestions and left me to pick out a few beers. I chose a Stone 8th anniversary ale and a Alaskan smoked porter. Decided i wanted something to eat well i enjoy the beer order a burger what the bartender cooked in front of me well he was telling some stories. Over all great beer bar off the strip if you have time in Vegas it’s well worth checking it out. | | djd07 (22), Houston, Texas | | March 28, 2010 Right next to the airport, with the biggest bottle selection of rare beers I had ever seen. They still had a Vertical 4/4/04. Food was excellent had the inferno burger and jalapeno poppers. Lots of good beers on tap, but with a huge book with every bottle in the cellar. Cant miss this place while in Vegas. |
